Kim Hagerich is a paralegal of Hardwick Benfer, LLC.

Kim graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Finance. She started her career by working as a Branch Manager for Nations Bank in Atlanta, GA, and then worked in Financial Aid Offices at Auburn University and Bentley University where she was an Associate Director of Financial Aid.

A life-changing diagnosis of late-stage breast cancer when she was 36 led Kim to become involved in patient and research advocacy. She Co-Founded the Philadelphia Affiliate of the Young Survival Coalition, an organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer.  Kim has advocated for patient issues and increased research funding by leading teams of Pennsylvania constituents to Washington D.C. as part of the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s Lobby Day. She reviews grant proposals for the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Kim is the first patient to serve on the Fox Chase Cancer Center-Temple University Health System Board of Directors. She has Co-Chaired the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Fox Chase, and she frequently collaborates with researchers on writing grants. She was recently appointed to Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Institutional Review Board.
